Valve have released a major update for Counter Strike Source today. CSS will now be using the orange box/tf2 game engine, which allows, amongst other things, players with Macs to play on the same servers as PC players.

Like any major update this will break lots of things, like all of the servers. The way they have done it makes it very difficult and time consuming for server operators.

We are currently working on getting the servers updated, however this will take some time. The update is pretty huge and since it has changed the directory structure it means a lot of manually moving files around. Just the amount of data that needs to be moved will be very time consuming. Even once they are updated there is a lot more to do as a lot of plugins and mods don't work with the update, so there is a lot of bug finding, fixing and testing to be done.
