Here are some handy tips for anyone having problems with Steam and are known to solve most problems without having to reinstall.

Exit Steam
Go to;
C:/Program Files/Steam

Delete files;
AppUpdateStats.blob
ClientRegistry.blob

Run steam
The program will update
Log In

If problems persist try 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache'
Right click the game you are having problems with in 'my games' tab
click 'Properties'
click 'LOCAL FILES' tab
click VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE

You may also try
DEFRAGMENT CACHE FILES

If all else fails;
Re install Steam.

Thank you very much. But, I had some other problem regarding steam, my steam usually goes into offline mode. And while sometimes It does not update also. For that i had wait for weeks.
