Hey all,

Exam results for me was never so rewarding :D Well, good grades made my dad satisfied enough to buy me a new laptop. So after doing 3 backflips and a few somesaults (okay seriously now xD), i stumbled across a few good laptops but couldnt make my mind up. Please give me your opinion about some gaming laptops that i may find impressive. What laptops are you using?

Cheers :)

Desktop is the best choose for gaming.
I have no experience with gaming laptops, but i know that it will cost you a lot of money.

i agree, I've tried gaming with a laptop, it isnt as "comfortable" since i tend to move my mouse alot, type real fast and stuff, move around alot, i just find that laptops r not for gaming, but hey, thats just me. its my opinion that u shouldn't buy a laptop if ur going for something that ur going to "game" most of the time on =]

I'm running a Dell Studio XPS 16, its a pretty good all rounder with 6 gig of ram and a reasonable video card. Better build than Alienware IMO to.

I'm very happy with mine considering I use it for work and play. :)

Desktops are generally more powerful but you can get some awesome laptops for gaming these days. My personal favorite for gaming laptops is Sager. Check them out. Best for desktops is building it yourself! However, if you are too lazy or don't have the required knowledge, try Velocity Micro for desktops. Alienware is overpriced!
